How many oz do you pump at once?

I had my baby a week ago and never pump more than 3.5 oz per 30 minute session. It’s usually more like 1.5/2 oz.  Is this normal? I try to pump every few hours in between feedings but I feel like I’m not pumping enough for when she needs a bottle (usually at night). Thanks!

I usually get around 4 oz from both breasts at each pumping session. That’s when I don’t breastfeed. If they nurse, I can only pump an ounce or 1.5 at the most from both breasts. The best output I had was 6.5 oz, the worst - less than 1 oz.

as your baby get old they are able to nurse better and you may pump less cause baby Is getting more milk but your building up your supply so that's a good thing my boys were 3 weeks old and my freezer was stocked up for my return to work

It's normal...  for me, it is, anyway. My son is 9 and a half months old and I STILL barely get 4-5 ounces total in the morning, when milk supply is highest. The rest of the day, I usually only get about 3 ounces total. Not sure how my little one has survived on just breastmilk lol.. but I haven't had to supplement with formula, even though I work and my supply is low every time I get my period. Just a tip.. when you pump, pump in the morning or in the middle of the night. That's when our milk supply is the greatest! 
(Also just want to mention that my son has been in the 60th percentile for weight, so even though I worry about my supply, my baby has been doing great!)
