So myself and my partner are expecting our first baby. We are both so excited! I’m currently 13+2 I get my 12 week scan tomorrow because they couldn’t fit me in last week! Better late then never.

My partner has a gambling problem. And seems all he’s doing is spending money on that more often these days. We don’t live together but whenever I call or text he always gives me the same answer he’s watching football in the betting shop which 9/10 means he’s placed bets. I know I’m not his wife, I also know he has the freedom to do whatever he wants but what concerns me the most is I opened a savings account at the beginning of the month and he said he’d transfer money into it but still hasn’t.

Is this a problem at this stage? Shall I be worried? Should I confront him? I don’t want to upset him or argue because I know it’s something he enjoys, he doesn’t smoke, drink or do drugs but I find betting it’s still an addiction? No? Comments greatly appreciated x
