My baby is finally here!!!

Margaret 🇨🇺 • First time mother! Aliza Sarai 💖👶🏻 (October 31st 17`) 💍 to the love of life and best friends since 11•3•08 👨‍👩‍👧

So I went in on 10/30/17 4 cm dilated and 90 % effaced, ready to meet my baby!!! I was laboring on my own ( and woooooooo boy 😩) but I was taking it like a champ!

I got dilated to 7 cm 😱😱 and in this time my "no epidural" dream was out the window!!! I couldn't take those overlapping contractions for that long anymore!!! So I got the epidural, and the did it wrong the first time and had to stick me again 😰😰😰. But once that medicine kicked in I could sleep great!!

They came and broke my waters after I got my epidural, and my baby girl had already pooped in her amniotic fluid 😔😫. And that leaked forEVER!! I stayed at 7 cm for 12+ hours!! With no progression they said I needed to have a C section, which was VERY hard to make that decision. I felt like a failure like I couldn't push out my child. It was rough.

But I needed to do what was best for my baby, and with her waters already being broken, her breathing in the meconium, and not progressing, I think have the procedure was the safest thing for both or us.

The procedure was great, couldn't feel much besides the pressure and pulling but all the mess they gave me had my LOOPY and nauseous! But I finally heard my baby cry and I swear it was the most beautiful sound I've ever heard.

She just feels too good to be true. After almost 9 years of trying, long nights, negative test, 1 miscarriage, and a lot of tears, prayers, and frustrations, The Elohim has blessed my husband and I with this most beautiful of blessings, Aliza Sarai ❤️😍😘
