bleed after sex

so the last 2 or 3 times i've had sex i've bleed the morning after or a few hours after but i just ended my period last week wednesday to be exact and i had sex last night let's just say i woke up to blood down my legs and all over the sheets. i doubt this is normal but i wanted to ask you all first if it's ever happened to you and what you've done about it if it has happened to you.
