We had some builders over today to fix our shed, and they’re also the ones who will be splitting our study in two to make a study + nursery. We haven’t told anyone we’re expecting, and I’m not showing yet at all (10 weeks).

So the first thing the builder says is “You want to add another room, so there’s a baby on the way, right?” While staring very pointedly at my stomach. I was not prepared for that so stammered something like “oh not yet but it’s in the planning” which was not convinving AT ALL! He later told my husband congrats and that I let on the secret.

I wasn’t really ready for this yet! Aah so annoyed! We’re telling our parents in two weeks after we’ve had our 12 week scan but now the builders already know. We live in a big city so I don’t think our family will find out through word of mouth, but still!
