Coconut oil as lube?

Question

I have an IUD, so my boyfriend and I don’t use condoms. Would you recommend coconut oil as lube? Would it increase my chances of a UTI or yeast infection? I get UTI’s frequently no matter what I do to prevent them. Peeing after sex, both of us washing before, and washing after with warm water, or washing with Summer’s eve ph-balanced wash. I’d like to try it as a more natural and affordable lube, but I don’t need more frequent UTIs. Just not sure if it could cause that.

I use it daily and have never had a UTI. Just buy high quality extra virgin coconut oil, dont buy the cheapest.

Use organic, cold pressed, virgin coconut oil. It does not cause uti’s or yeast infections. If you google it, you’ll see that coconut oil has anti-bacterial properties and can be used to treat yeast infections. I’ve done it myself in the past, and I used coconut oil as lube till I bought formal lube from the store. So you’ll be fine.

I used coconut oil as lube for a while. I found most regular lubes gave me a burning sensation but I struggled getting wet on the pill so we tried it out. It always worked perfectly fine for us. I only get UTIs rarely though so I don't know whether it could make that worse 🤷‍♀️

then don't use coconut oil use a lube that's made to be used for both anal and vagina cause yes that could give you a uti and yeast infection BUT coconut oil can be used for anal cause well it's your butt NOT your vagina where it could go up into your uterus and cause hectic with your body
