Nanny help !

Kayyyy

Hi everyone I was hoping to come here to get advice from fellow nannies . I work in napa California and I have 9 years experience as a nanny . I have had five nanny jobs where I have worked with children ages newborn -10 and taken care of as many as five children at a time . I have two years experience working with twins and also a year working with special needs children . I'm cpr and first sir certified and have taken early childhood education classes . I have been at my current job for 1.5 years now and started when the twins were 2 months old . I work from 7-5 Monday -Friday . My pay rate they offered me was 22 an hour . My responsibilities include everything pertaining to the babies obviously and keeping the house clean as well as unloading the dishwasher and doing laundry . I drive up to 45 miles weekly with the babies to various activities . I was not offered any kind of raise at the one year mark and was informed that my hours would be changing from 8-5 didn't seem like too big of a deal at the time but now I'm realizing that's cutting five overtime hours from me weekly which amount to 660 dollars less a month . I am super accommodating and have traveled with the family to help them and during the months of sept oct and part of November I'm working 11 hour days so I'm feeling very under appreciated and frustrated with the no raise and the hours being cut . I'm paid over the table so taxes are taken out and because of that I pay 428 a month for medical insurance and they have never offered anything as far a stipend for that which I've read a lot of nanny employers do . I guess what I'm hoping is to what people's opinions on f they think my feelings are legitimate and me being upset is valid . I also was hoping to hear opinions on what you would do if you were in my shoes . Thank you
