8 months old sleep regression

My son is 8 months old and has been sleeping thru the night since 6 months old. He didn't want any feeding and would sleep so good; however, since last week he has been waking p at 1am and 5am wide awake. He won't fall asleep unless I feed him. He only takes 2oz and sleeps. First we thought it's growth spurt but he only drinks 2oz( comfort amount). Googling , I found that babies go thru sleep regression at 8-10months. Anyone else experiencing this?
