I don’t know how to tell my boyfriend I might be ill.

Back story;

So basically I have been with my boyfriend for just over a year.... After dating for a few months he was diagnosed with cancer. It killed me to watch him go through it and he found it so difficult. At the time he was 19 and I was 17. 3 months ago he was given the all clear and he is now well. The whole Situation is something that he never wants to talk about and it’s never mentioned.

Now I am not all that good....

So the last few months there has been a few problems with my health. After check ups they said I was fine. Yesterday I had an appointment about it, I now have an emergency referral for tomorrow. They are concerned it’s something serious. There is a high chance it may be cervical cancer. I am only 18.

My boyfriend keeps asking questions and I don’t want to worry him. Because it’s a chance.... After him being ill, I can’t put him though it again.

He is in his first year of uni and has a lot of work.

Do I tell him ? Do I wait till I find my results tomorrow?

I don’t want to keep anything from him. But it is bet to say nothing ? 😢

UPDATE;

So I have been in Hospital for w few days. They are still testing but they are saying I have the all clear. They believe that I have something wrong internally to my system. I haven’t exactly got answers but they are not concerned as they was.

So all good news.
