Hiiii this is my first time posting but I freaking love glow. You women are srsly the most supportive internet community I've ever seen and it's hella cute. Soooo anyway, recently got into a bit of kinky shit & my man spanked me pretty hard today. It was only my second time, but both times have left these marks on my ass. Both times were just bare handed spankings, so nothing that would scratch or anything. They look like scratch marks or stretch marks or something and are pretty red! I don't usually have visible stretch marks (was taking sexy photos this morning before the spanking, attached for comparison). Are these bursted blood vessels or something? Is that ever dangerous??

It’s broken capillary vessels. No big deal and easily healed, but maybe tone it down a little if you don’t want bruising (which will most likely occur after a few days due to the broken vessels)

Bare hand and paddles make those marks that look like stretch marks, a cane makes welts and thick straight bruises, a flogger l makes sparkled bruises.

A hand leaves a red line where the space was between the fingers, so you see parallel lines on the upper L side.  We look for this finding on abused children.  The shearing forces on the skin cause the broken capillaries/bruise.  It is no more harmful than getting a bruise on your knee when you fall.  It is possible for the hemoglobin to tattoo the skin of the bruise is excessive.  I was flogged and paddled and had a huge dark bruise that fully resolved.
