Spotting with pill

Hey everyone Im on the third week of my Yaz pill for the first time ever, and for the last week or so I have been spotting. Actually so much so it's like a light period, except for today, today is serious red stuff. Is this normal? Or should I go to the doctor? Also my vagina is a little sore, but I haven't had any sex or anything so I don't know why
