GIRLS HOLD ON TO YOUR CHAIRS!!

I wanted to talk about my luna cup! So some of you know I got my first menstrual cup early last year. I see so many people hesitant to try it because of many different reason. I want to tell you just to TRY it! If you go on wish you can get one for $3 and that is where I got mine.

I have a very opinionated sister and the day I told her I ordered a memstrual cup she flipped, I was a virgin and I wasn’t supposed to put anything up my vagina until it was my husband. Then she was all over me saying I would get a disease from it.

My menstrual cup came, I grabbed a big glass cup and filled it up with water putting my cup in their and bringing it to a boil for 4 minutes in the microwave. That sanitized it you can do it before or after every period. My first period figuring out how to fold it and actually getting it inside of me was tough. It took me maybe 5 tries until it was comfy inside of me.

Then came that night where I had to take it out........ remember I was a virgin and it was suctioned...... I walked it out a little then went to reach up to fold it and bring it out. Well it went back up. So I did that same step about 3 times before I yanked it out. I was 16 so I didn’t think about the mess. When I yanked it out blood sprayed in a perfect arch and lined neatly on the floor. Lol. So I cleaned up the blood and ran my cup under warm water scrubbing it with my hand. I put it back in that weekend when I was home I would practice taking it out and putting it in everytime I had to go to the bathroom.

Fast forward to now, my last period was extremely light the first day so I switched back to pads to see the difference... I hated them, the pads gave me rashes. Yes, sometimes I do use panty liners incase my cup would overflow (My cup runnith over, my blood has been shed for you... to know I ain’t preggo) sometimes when I know I’m not going to be able to check it for 9+ hours. .

Overall, I LOVE my menstrual cup! It requires little work and lets me do the things I love without having to have a bathroom near by. It can not give you TSS or any other diseases. Especially when you sanitize it and take care of your cup.
