Passing down female names to child (ren) ?

My grandmother, Elizabeth, named my Aunt, her daughter Elizabeth after herself. My other aunt's, Aunt Linda, her daughter is little Linda. I've thought about it myself if I have a daughter giver her my first name. What about you ?

I have my granny’s middle as my first and my moms middle as my middle name

Almost every first born girl on my mothers side has Elizabeth as a first or middle name. My great grandma, my grandma, and my mom are all Elizabeth. My middle name is Elizabeth. I named my daughter Madilyn Elizabeth :) I liked the tradition! Although I understand it’s not for everyone

Haiden(Great grandfather)
Anthony(Great Uncle)
Michael(his Dad)
My daughters name is 
Alyss Marie(Great grandmother)
Faye(Grandmother)

all the guys in my dad's family does that. They all have their dad's first name as a middle name. Me, my mom, and my grandma have Marie as the middle name. I'm not passing it down

Not as a first, but I did as a second (kind of). My first daughters middle name is my mother’s first name and my second daughter has the same middle name as me. 
We’re all unique and have our own first names but we share middle names.

We are using our moms middle names for hers. My MIL’s is a family name on her side. My mom is my best friend, so of course I want her name as one of my little princesses name.

I’m having a boy, but if I had a girl I’d like to name her after one of my grandmothers. I’d never name her after myself though.
