Do you take a while to get used to a haircut?

I have been wanting to chop my hair shorter for awhile now and I finally did it today and I added some color to it and I definitely love it but it is taking me awhile to get used to it 😂 I keep looking in the mirror and feel like I'm wearing a wig or I'll look down and see blonde and go "who's hair is that?!"

about 2 years ago. it felt good to chop it all off, but it definitely took a lot of getting used to! I really loved it at first, but I went through phases of hating it because I missed my long hair. I'm happy I did it, but I'm currently working on growing it back out lol.

I had hair down just above my butt before.

one night my mom and I both decided we wanted to donate our hair so I texted my hairdresser and she was down and had two openings the next day. we went and chopped both of our ling locks off. it took so long to figure out how to use less product.

I had very long thick hair and i finally decided it was time for a change and its been over a week and I'm still not used to it!!

Color doesn't take long since I change it so often, but length takes FOREVER I cut  5-7 inches off this summer (from my lower back to just below shoulders) and I'm still not used to it 😂

I would've never cut if it wasn't so damaged (above mentioned colors). I had grown it out for almost 3 years at that point.
