I took the depo shot for 2 years and gained about 20 pounds. I switched to implanon and it was only slightly better. I’ve heard similar stories from other girls but I had a friend who was on then non estrogen pill and said she actually lost weight. I’m just wondering what everyone else’s experiences with weight gain and weight loss are when it comes to birth control and which type would be better for losing weight?
