Nose piercing drama! Help!

So I know what you all are going to say. I was so dumb. I shouldn't have done it and I get that. I didn't use my common sense. But I changed my nose ring just 6 days after getting it pierced. But the corkscrew he put in my nose was massive and horribly uncomfortable. It was not sized correctly. So I changed it for a surgical steel stud that I sanitized with peroxide before insertion and I cleaned my nose with a saline solution. Only thing is removing the original jewelry was very painful and it made my nose inside the nostril bleed quite a bit. Now it's very sore and red but doesn't look infected. I just did it a little while ago and I was very careful. The outside of the piercing doesn't hurt, just the inside. I just couldn't stand the giant corkscrew anymore. Any advice on whether or not I should put the original jewelry back in or just leave it with the new jewelry? Thanks in advance!
