Opinions on the name Willoughby?

I’m not naming my kid this but I thought the name was very interesting and wanna know people’s thoughts on it. I came across it on website and apparently it means from the willow farm.

I wouldnt choose it for our child but everyone is different and not a lot of people would choose the name we picked. So to each their own!

It’s okay, normally a surname. It may have a negative connotation in the British literary crowd; Willoughby is the fuccboi (manipulative, narcissistic, wants a Gucci-belt) character in Jane Austen’s Sense & Sensibility. There are many film adaptations of this novel.

Doesnt matter if other people like it as long as you do. could call your child will or willow for short. nobody would tease then if thats what youre worried about.
