Inlaws rant

Okay so my inlaws are in town this weekend and I never enjoy when they come, but that’s beside point. Anyway, my daughter is going through a leap week and is seriously not into other people touching her or really looking at her. We found this out yesterday when some of my husbands friends came by to meet her. So she started crying when my father in law touched her and took a long time to calm down. We split for a few hours from them and when they saw her again, my mother in law pried her out of my hands despite me telling her that she wouldn’t be okay with it. What do you know, she started screaming at the top of her lungs. So after a few mins of her trying and failing to calm her, I took her back. Then a few mins later one of them touched her and set her off again! I was furious and told my husband in no uncertain terms, we were leaving now.

So then he was mad because I made us leave and I was mad at them. I mean, respect her boundaries, yeah? If you see she’s screaming every time you touch her, stop touching her!
