I need advice, is this implantation?

So I am on the pill and take it about the same time everyday. Lately, my s/o has finished inside of me. (I let him) I got my period a few days earlier than expected but it was spotting of dark brown. Like old stuff you know? Then the following days it was super light in amount and color. (Brown/Pink) the thing is, it happened for about 5 days and today it is even lighter in amounts and color like its fading away like a period would. But the amount is so small, and I haven't had any vibrant red blood yet. Opinions? Now I have to wait until my next period... it's a little frustrating. Should I take a pregnancy test or am I overthinking? Thank you guys kindly.
