Any insight?

So my husband went in for his test results of his 2nd SA. No sperm and very low testosterone. They prescribed him a cream compounded with testosterone to see if it helps.  But they said you have to go to a fertility clinic and get a biopsy done. This dr. is a male infertility urologist so we thought he could do all these things, but no. Anyone else have a biopsy of the testicles?

My husband has Klinefelters syndrome which is a chromosome abnormality which results in infertility and other symptoms as well.  His testosterone is low as a result and we were informed that if he went on testosterone, it has the likelihood of decreasing his sperm count.  We also won’t know what his sperm count will be until he has a TESE when we are ready for IVF. 
So I’m not sure if your husband going on testosterone will affect him the same way as my husband, or if our situation is different because of the Klinefelters syndrome.  Something for you to maybe look into!  Best of luck to you!!

We are almost in the same boat. Been trying for a year, FINALLY got him to go in to do an analysis and it came back with no sperm in his specimen. I’m hoping it’s just a block but I’m also hoping it’s not the end of the road!

We are in the same boat. Low testosterone and zero sperm count. He was Placed on clomid and HCG injections. Hoping it raises his sperm count will re check in February. If it’s a bloackage IVF may be an option for us. Hope you get some answers. It takes a lot of time and testing
