Do parents get mad if you have a hickey?

First time having HICKIES and I don't know if my parents are going to get mad...should I cover them up

When I used to get them my parents were pissed as hell lol I would cover them up best as you can

Well now I'm a married adult, so no. But when I was 14 or 15
 I burned my neck with the curling iron and my mom assumed it was a hickey and slapped me right in the face.

I definitely suggest covering them up. Some parents may not care but some do. It shows them you were obviously doing something intimate with another person and it will make them uncomfortable regardless.
