We've have our ups and downs with breastfeeding like anyone else but I can't seem to get a handle on how much my baby should be eating and why she eats so well some days and not others. We had some concerns with weight gain and I really tried to push her as much as I could to drink more by pumping and bottle feeding which worked for a bit but now she just typically drinks 3oz and plays with the rest sometimes never finishing the remaining ounce or 2oz like an hour later. With breastfeeding she typically feeds about 5-6 mins on each breast, and I have no idea if that's enough. How much do your 4 months olds take or how long do they typically spend on the breast?
