Missed birth control and sudden period??

I am currently taking June’s as an oral contraceptive but me being stupid, I forgot it at my college while I visited home so I won’t have them until Sunday (I came home Thursday). I was on the last 4 days before my sugar pills. Since I started 2 months ago, I haven’t gotten a period but I woke up this morning with every symptom I used to get (tender breast, back pain, cramping) and some spotting. I’m actually kind of relieved because I was starting to get nervous, but my original plan was to take two pills when I got back and I don’t know if I should just wait until my period finishes and start a new one? I was going to call my gynecologist today but his office is closed on the weekends.
