I don’t think it’s wrong, but I personally find it to be unnecessary. Do your own thing though. If it works for you and he’s okay with it, it doesn’t matter what we think.

How old are you? If you’re kids then that’s cute but if you’re older thats sort of... weird? Like, I wouldn’t even call someone my boyfriend if we didn’t kiss, he’s just be a close friend.

No, it's not wrong if you both agreed to it. My now husband and I decided, on our second date, that we didn't want to kiss until our wedding day. Two years and a couple months later, we had our first kiss. However, we both agreed to that and felt that it was important to us in our relationship with each other and with the Lord. 
But if you just made your boyfriend wait, without discussing it with him, then I think it isn't a great idea. Communication is the key in relationships! And affection is important too!
