PCOS AND TRYING TO CONCEIVE
Hey everyone my name is Danielle and I'm 21!
I was diagnosed with PCOS in June of this year but my OB/GYN told me that it looks like I've had this since I was young around the age of 14-15 since I never had a real period until I turned 18 and after that my period would come very seldom and then I didn't have one for almost 2 years after I got off the Depo shot. My doctor told me that the Depo shot really messed me up up and I should of never Got one. For me it was emotional roller coaster because I have always wanted kids and now that I am blessed to have an amazing man in my life we want to start a family. The doctor told me that since we found the PCOS so late in life or for my age I may say since I've been dealing with it since I was so young and never knew until now that the possibility of me getting pregnant would be very low. She put me on a birth-control pill that I was supposed to take for three months to regulate my period and then make an appointment to come back and we'll discuss my options, I was wondering if anybody could give me any information or feedback on what I should asked to use or take to help me get pregnant. I have been buying ovulation sticks but to my advantage they don't really work because it says it can counteract with PCOS, I have been tracking my period and ovulation schedule on the app, we have been having sex frequently, we started taking his and her prenatal vitamins to improve my fertility and I'm honestly running out of ideas. Please I would like some guidance and information and feedback on what to do. Thank you!
