How did you know you had preeclampsia?

I had evaluated blood pressure for about a week in a half. I was sent to l&d; and was given blood work that showed that everything was fine, but I still had high blood pressure. So, I had to give 24 hour urine and had protein in my urine. I'm borderline preeclampsia. I'm 36/4 and on bed rest at the hospital until this Tuesday. I will be induced then.

I didn’t know... I had been going to doctor every 2 weeks, blood pressure was fine and never protein in my urine... until I had it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I️ didn’t know until they caught my elevated BP at my Dr’a appt. Symptoms are headaches, blurred and or tunnel vision, excessive swelling. If you suspect you have it try and check your BP at home or local pharmacy and call your Dr
