Vaginal Birth after 4th degree tear?

We are trying for baby number 2!! The one thing I'm worried about is that with my first some he was 2 weeks late, 9lbs and 95th percentile head and I had a stage 4 tear that required 200 stitches. Had anyone had a vaginal birth after that? I'm worried I won't be able to, but I want to.

Update: My baby is almost 18 months old, I've waited a long time to try. Haha.

Thinking about it hurt me down there because I had a similar situation and it reminded me of the pain I had that I could still feel up until 4 months pp. I'm shocked after 4th degree tear and 200 stitches you want to try for 2nd baby. I like your spirit! lol

I’d wait awhile before trying again, after I had my c section I was told to wait at least a year if not two before I have another child

I don't think tearing would prevent any further vaginal deliveries, but 200 stitches!? Ouch!
