copper iud, what did you think?

Has anyone here gotten the copper iud implant? If so what where your experiences with it and do you recommend it? I am thinking about getting one but have heard mixed reviews, I was wondering if any ladies on here can share their experiences so that I can make my final decision. thanks

Oh and my period is pretty regular. Only time it wasn’t was a few months ago and it was 2 days early. 
No cramping for me during my period unless im using tampons (switched to the diva cup but sometimes i prefer tampons)
Insertion wasn’t fun but I mean they are sticking something up your cervix into your uterus. 
It’s good for 10-11 years 🙌🏻 non hormonal. I have a fair amount of sex with my husband and I’ve never gotten pregnant or anything (but keep in mind nothing is 100%)
Yeah I don’t have any complaints about it.

Going on 3 years with it.
First six months are it leveling out, my period was super heavy for evened out and now it’s pretty normal. 
I can’t use hormonal birth control so it’s been great for me.

I hate mine. I had Lorena before and it was great. I now have Paraguars and I'm extremely irregular, I bled all the time for the first 6 months to a year. After basic training and AIT, I had three periods a month (light but still) and just over all its been really frustrating. These last two months ha e finally evened out but I've had the darn thing in for almost 3 years.
