I’m curious if anyone else doing medicated cycles with an RE has been prescribed to do a second trigger shot around 7dpo?

My Dr never mentioned it or discussed it with me beforehand, but it was included in the written out instructions they sent over to me. I’m confused because when I looked it up I read that some clinics have patients do that INSTEAD of progesterone supplements following ovulation, but they’re instructing me to do both.

My instructions are for 200mg progesterone suppositories 2x a day and then at 7dpo another full 2500 <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> dose of the Novarel (same I took for trigger).

I’m mostly not excited about this because it’s going to make my 2WW into a 3ww to make sure the trigger is all out of my system 😩
