First US 14 weeks?

Hey all! Made my first prenatal appt today and will be seeing a nurse educator at 8 weeks. They are unable to get me with my OB of preference until 14 weeks—they said they typically see pts around 10-12 weeks for first ultrasound. I’ll be in my second trimester at 14 weeks? This seems late? Shall I️ pick another provider? Or is it no biggie? This is my first baby so Im not sure....

Doesn't seem a big deal to me, especially around the holidays. Early pregnancy, they usually try to get you comfortable with everyone in the practice. It sounds like they are trying to accommodate you, and once you get further along, you can schedule further ahead to get priority.

its actually pretty normal to have your first US around that time.  i had one at 7 weeks, but i am also high risk.  so be thankful that the doctors dont see the need to do one early🤗🤗🤗
