So Thursday right at 5 weeks I had a small amount of pale pink blood. Then again this past Sunday I had more then some brown discharge later that same day. My heart sank as far as it could this morning as I woke up to quite a bit more spotting that was darker than the pale pink I had previously been seeing. I called my OB and they got me right in today. I expected the worst, was a crying hot mess, but instead we saw a heartbeat ❤️, a slow heartbeat, but it was there! I am so in love. She measured me at 6 weeks 1 day which isn’t possible since I ovulated on October 12th which only makes me 5 weeks 4 days today. I pray that is why the heartbeat is slow, and my ultrasound in 2 weeks shows much progress! She told me that she saw no blood on the ultrasound or the exam as she checked my uterus and is believing it is still implantation bleeding. That being said, I am totally confused that you can have implantation bleeding this far out; being she measured me at 6 weeks 1 day, but since everything looked OK, I will take it! Anyone else start out with a slow heartbeat and go on to have a happy healthy bundle of joy?
