60lbs down!!!

After 11 very long months, I finally lost the baby weight! For reference I am 5' 11" Curently at 190lb. I would still like to lose about 15lbs as I was trying to get to 170lb before I got pregnant! Edit: What I did was I started eating smaller meals during the day and drinking lots of water. I eliminated pop/soda and switched to carbonated waters and sometimes used a sugar free flavoring when I craved bubbles ( I never really drank a lot to begin with but I like something different with dinner). I saved my calories so I could have a larger dinner and I could look forward to something and go to bed full! I swam 3 times a week when I was pregnant, but when we moved, no pool... I stuck with low intensity like walks with baby! I dug out my old DDR game and started playing that some nights. A few months ago, I got a got a part time retail job at nights so we could avoid daycare costs(I am actually a Biology teacher by trade). I started to get 10,000 steps regularly and inadvertently did a lot of squats! I didn't want to be sore because my baby is extremely active now. I am hoping I can keep slowly losing till I hit my goal. I was very depressed for awhile, my husband hides the scale on me often! 😂 I agree with avoiding it now, it just stresses me out. I found out I hit my pre baby weight at the doctor who is so wonderful and really encouraging. The midwife I saw during my pregnancy always made me feel so horrible about my weight when I truly was trying to keep it under control! 😢
