Would you allow your mother in law to your wedding? Even if she’s done something really horrible to you or said things that you can’t take back?

Answer

My mother in-law wasn’t invited to my wedding. 
She had said horrible things that just can not be taken back and had made it clear she had no intention of apologising.
My fiancé and I sat down and had an in-depth conversation and we decided that if she didn’t support us getting married then there was no need for her to attend.

Does your fiancé want her to be there? I'm all for inviting who you want to have at your wedding not who you think you have to have. But that is your SO's mother... probably a very important part of their life?

Answer

I would, for my boyfriend, try to put the drama and what she did and said past me for the wedding and allow her to come. Since it is his mother. Only because I knew my boyfriend wouldn’t allow her to get away with saying or doing anything horrible to me. So as long as she’s put in her place I’m okay. 
Now if I knew she’d try to start shit on my wedding or ruin our bug day she wouldn’t be invited and I know my boyfriend would agree.
