Period while pregnant?

So I was just wondering how many have been pregnant but still gotten there period? If you did get your period still what where you other signs of pregnancy and how did you find out you where pregnant? Is it common to get your period while being pregnant?

I was one day late for my period so tested and got a positive. The next day I started bleeding (heavier than just and  with clots) and continued to bleed like that for the first 15 weeks of my pregnancy. They never could find out why but I ended up having a healthy baby!

So technically, you cannot get your period when you’re pregnant. However, lots of women experience bleeding during their pregnancy and this is often mistaken for a period!

I understand everyone’s bodies are different . But my mother had a cycle every month ( no spotting )  . The same time and the same 5 days . And still was pregnant with me . She had one up until she was 5 months that’s why she didn’t know she was pregnant with me . And I was a premature baby I came at 7 months so it’s definitely possible!!! and I know another lady who had a period her whole 7 days with full bleeding (not spotting) and the next week or so she found out she was pregnant with twins when she went to the doctor. So it’s definitely is possible .

good question girl. I'm experiencing spotting when AF is due tomorrow .. never before have I got spotting before. also slight cramps but nothing at all like period cramps !! hoping maybe it's implantation ??! so scared to really get my hopes up though. thinking about waiting a week before testing if no AF.
