My boyfriend of over a year & I decided to get married in early January of 2018. I was thrilled to tell my mother & my mum who encouraged me to marry him because I spend the night at his house was upset because she thought I wanted a better job, an education, etc. (basically all the stuff she wants for me.)

I do everything to please her and yet she is never happy with me. I’m so upset.
