How did you and your S/O decide you were ready TTC?!

I am a newlywed (March 25) and I have been thinking about TTC pretty often lately but my husband and I def agreed we want to be married for at least a year. I’m so curious to know when others knew when to start TTC or did you just not plan ahead?

After a year and half of happy marriage, plus over 8 years of being together! I've always wanted to be a Mommy and we finally had a major discussion about it. Side note- I was on the pill for more than 16 years so I didn't know how my body would react to anything without it. So a few months ago I told my husband how I felt about everything, that we can start this process now and we can do this! He agreed! 😁

My husband would probably tell you I’ve been baby crazy since we got married (which I don’t think so..just excited for my sister in law who was pregnant with twins!). We had originally sort of said that we would wait until he was out of the Navy, but I knew there was part of him that also wanted his kids before he turned 30 (he’s 27) so the conversation was off the table. But then one day last October we were at dinner and he brought it up to say he was ready! I was unprepared so I told him I needed to think about it. Two months later I told him that i agreed, and we started trying that next cycle. If it’s something you really want even though you previously agreed on something, it never hurts to bring it up again! He’s your life partner by all means, not some scary monster you’re afraid to talk to!(at least I hope not 😝)

Well, I had been trying with a boyfriend for more than 2 years before I met my husband. I think on our second date, I told my future husband that I really want to get pregnant. And he said that he would like another baby (he already has two kids). So, we've basically been trying since we met and since before we got married.

We were dating for less than a month he put a ring on my finger and said let’s make babies 😂😂😂
