Breast pump, which to choose?

I've been seeing reviews about baby steps, motif, spectra 2 ..kinds I never we seen heard of. What are you ladies using that can be taken with you on the go and not a big hassle but helps release milk? suggestions would be appreciated before I spend 300 on one that's similar to a better one with less hassle and possibly fit multiple bottle types.

The Spectra S2 doesn't have an internal battery like thebS1 has. So it has to be plugged in to work. That being said, I absolutely prefer my S2 over Medela. All my mom friends told me to go with the Medela when I was trying to decide. But after doing a lot of research and online reviews and comparisons, Spectra seemed to win over Medela. I got the S2, and brought it with me when I went to the hospital to have my son.  My son ended up in the NICU, and the nurse brought me the Medela Symphony to pump for my son, until I was able to get out of bed to go breastfeed him. The Medela is loud, and I pumped 1ml a session for the first few times. I tried plugging in my Spectra just to see, and got 7ml in the same amount of time, not to mention it was way quieter. The only thing Medela has over Spectra IMO is ease of replacement parts. Medela parts are sold in every store that has baby gear. You can only buy Spectra parts online.

I exclusively pumped for a year with my son, while also simultaneously feeding my friends adopted baby that entire time. I pumped 7-8 times per day for that entire year (so a crap ton haha). Even with that much use, my Medela still looks new and works amazing!!!! I have absolutely no complaints!! It's super easy to use because you just turn it on then there aren't separate dials for speed and suction like the spectra. It's more idiot proof haha because there's one dial that is pre set for a nipple stimulation warmup, then automatically adjusts to a pump setting. My friend said trying to juggle the different dials while simultaneously holding he flanges on with her spectra was a nightmare, and she could hardly get anything out. I told her to give my Medela a shot, and she literally got out more than double what she could get with her spectra. Plus, you can affordably buy spare/extra Medela parts just about anywhere. Target even sells them. I very affordibly bought an adapter for the car, travel storage and other spare parts at target :) Again, most pumps you have to specialty order the spare parts. And I think there is a reason most hospitals use Medela brand pumps. I can't rave about it enough!

I got the spectra s2 through insurance and I've read some really good reviews on it :) the only thing that would be a downside for you is that it isn't really portable as it has to be plugged in
