When does the third trimester start??

I’m so curious as to when my third trimester starts?? One of my apps says 27 weeks, and another says 28! Then I have another app telling me my third trimester started now!!!! I’m so confused!

Pregnancy math makes no sense to me 😅 
Every chart I see says something different. I'm due Feb. 15, so tomorrow on 11/15 I will be exactly 3 months out...works as a good marker for me 🤷🏼‍♀️

28 weeks is the start of the third trimester according to my doctor

27 is what I have been told by my dr for all four of my full term pregnancies. I go by that as it’s been 6 years and the drs have not changed it.
