Hi all,

Today I am 6 weeks along. Sunday I woke up to some light spotting colored brown. Eventually I also noticed some discharge which was also brown. I called my OB the following business day and they sent me for an ultrasound at 5 weeks 6 days. They were unable to see a yolk sac or fetal pole. They were able to find that the pregnancy was in the right place and measuring on track (5 weeks 6 days). The doctor is sending me for another ultrasound next week when they should be able to see more to determine if the pregnancy has progressed and is healthy. At this point in time, she could not say whether the pregnancy is healthy or not. As you all can image, I am so worried and feel like this next week is going to drag while waiting for answers at the next ultrasound. The brown blood seems to have lessened and has been mostly nonexistent today.

I am trying to keep faith but I am worried and can hardly focus and go about my work and other responsibilities as usual.

Has anyone had a similar experience or can you provide any insight?
