Digital BFP but BFN 3 hours ago

so AF is due on the 12th and tested this morning and this evening on cheap tests that had a 20miu sensitivity both were negative. I had a digital hanging around that has a 25miu sensitivity so did it tonight for the hell of it and got a positive?! Is it just that somehow in 3 hours my HCG has just jumped up to be able to pick it up? I don't trust it when I can't see a line for myself 🙈 been TTC for 6 months I've never been pregnant before.
