Turkey Day Announcement??

Question

We plan to tell our families about baby at Thanksgiving. But I don’t just want to stand up during dinner all awkward and announce it. 
Ideas on creative ways to announce??

We always say a prayer before we eat, especially on thanksgiving. You could volunteer to lead the prayer and go on about giving thanks for certain things and then say something like especially thankful this year for you and your significant other to be expecting. I thought about doing this :)

I announced on thanksgiving two years ago, we had my daughter wear a shirt that said big sister. No one actually noticed we ended up having to point it out 🙄 but you could find some kind of shirt that lets everyone know. I saw some on Etsy that said things like “it’s not a food baby” and “there’s a little turkey in this oven”. They have a lot of cute ones on Etsy.

Me too, my family is always asking me when im going to have a baby, so the first person to ask is the first person to get the ultrasound picture!

I am making ornaments that say "nana of baby (last name here) '18" (auntie of baby...." etc for each member. I am putting them in gift boxes and at the end of dinner telling my family we got them all early xmas gifts to say thanks for supporting us through or infertility treatments for yet another year. Then they will open it and see the ornament, u/s picture, and little June calendar with a Heart around the 24th. ♡♡ This  will be their faces...

Our immediate family knows but no one else does. We are announcing on Thanksgiving with matching shirts that say I’m thankful this year because I’m going to be a mom/dad. We can’t wait

I’m wanting to announce the same time. For my family I’m going to give me grandmother a gift (she won’t have any idea why) with an US pic.
I’m still clueless for my husbands family. There’s a lot of them so it’ll be hard to get everyone’s attention at once without just coming out and saying it.

Were going to announce on thanksgiving too! I'm thinking of making my husband and myself shirts to wear and see when they catch on! I'm going to make a shirt that says "eating for 2" for me with a turkey on if and for him I'm thinking "be nice to be my wife is pregnant" or maybe "drinking for 2"

I bought a t-shirt that says "pie for two please" with little feet on the belly. Although we did tell a couple people early, I thought it was a fun shirt because I really like pie! Haha

It's my mother's 60th birthday and my MILs bday so I was going to announce via their birthday gifts on Thanksgiving day. I love the prayer idea so much more than a t-shirt.
