Mirena iud, discharge is this normal? Help?

I have the mirena iud, I can feel my strings I am sexually active my period isn’t supposed to come for another 13 days, this has been happening for the last 2 days normal?? (: thanks!

Yes omg I was wondering the same thing and sometimes it comes With mild cramping but mine is the same color I’m not on my period but I kinda smells like blood. So weird

Yea my periods were irregular and started with that discharge when I had my mirena. Some months I just had lining come out that wasn’t even really red.. gross I know.

If it’s brown/red/orange it can be the iodine cleanser from insertion if it was within the last week or so.

I had that this month also. 15 days before my period starts. I got it inserted last June and it still hasn’t become regular it’s longer and lighter. I’m getting sooooo sick of this thing lol

I got mine inserted like a week and a half ago and I have that as well. I think it's the lining of your uterus. I believe that part of what the hormones do is make it harder for a egg to implant in the uterus by getting rid of the lining. That's what I kinda remember from what the lady told me

Light spotting is normal within 3-6 months after IUD insertion. 
After that timeframe, I would ask your doctor.

I started having this discharge  problem fit 6 months before i removed never happened in the four years of me having it just the last 6 months

Looks like some minor spotting, totally normal, especially if you had it placed recently.
