So me and this boy have been hooking up since Labor Day and last Saturday when we were both really drunk at a party he asked me out and subtlety said he loved me.

Also, over the last couple weeks we have started to act more like boyfriend and girlfriend. Like we’ve gone out more and the boy even fixed my break light for me, like thats boyfriend behavior.

Today I finally confronted him about asking me out. I brought it up and for a second it sounded like he was gonna ask me again but then he stared in the whole “you’re pretty, smart, funny, blah, blah, blah” and I could just feel the but coming.

His excuse ended up being that he is graduating in the spring and I am a freshman (I’m 18 and he’s 21). Then he continued saying that since I can’t go party at the bars and stuff it won’t work. It didn’t make me suspicious that he’s seeing someone else when he’s at the bars because he’s always snapping or messaging me while he’s there.

So bottom line is he really seemed like he was going to ask me out and really the only thing that would change is that it would be official. Please give me some advice on if I should continue with this or just drop it and cut my loses :/
