Daily Feedings?

Any other exclusively breastfeeding moms out there? My baby will be 8 weeks old on 09/16. He is averaging about 10 feeds a day (approx every 2 1/2 hrs). Is this standard?

I exclusively breast feed. We feed every 2 1/2 to 3 hours during day. We are working on getting her to sleep through the night and so far its going good!! Close to bed time around 7 lately she goes through a three hour cluster feed, she's constantly snacking back to back and with this she usually sleeps up to 4-5 hours at night with only 1-2 breast feeding sessions!!  I feed on demand so just when ever she acts hungry she eats..so basically we don't have a schedule BUT   My baby is 7 weeks tomorrow and she seems to be doing GREAT with this feeding on demand technique. She is gaining weight and that's all that matters 😊😳

After a month baby is better at knowing they are hungry and they will eat on their schedule. As long as they are putting out enough dirty and wet diapers don't worry about it ❤️ my girl goes about 2-3 hours during the day. Sometimes 4 hours depending on how long it takes to get a nap. And at night she sleeps 4-5 hours.!

I feed on demand, but from what I can tell she goes about 3 hours between feeds.

My daughter is 2mos and eats about 8x a day every 2.5-3hrs during the day and one 6hr feed over the night.

I downloaded the wonder weeks app. I just finished leap 2 which felt like forever. I fed my baby for 12 hours straight (including diaper changing and burping) but she never fell asleep and kept crying if she wasn't on my breast. She's finally starting to eat less often but every time people say their baby is eating every 2-3 hours I get jealous. Although I am super super grateful she sleeps through the night. I think she is starting to get to better eating habits.

My daughter turned 8 weeks last Friday and that's about as often as she eats. Sometimes every hour sometimes every 2 hours.
