“Are you pregnant?”

So I’ve had 3 guys at work now ask me “are you pregnant?” Lol. Thankfully I️ am but that’s not something I’d ask a girl.. I️ had another guy ask me by saying “so anything special going on in your life? And I️ responded with “are you trying to ask if I’m pregnant?” And he just started laughing and admitted to it. The joys/humor of pregnancy haha.

I think the "anything special" line is actually pretty clever! Better than asking outright! I was asked once when I was not pregnant and thought the guy would die of embarrassment. I guarantee he's never made that mistake again!

I personally don't ask if someone is pregnant even if I can see they baby basically coming out! You never know when someone might just have an excellently round bump from that burrito at lunch... lol!

I was at Jack In the Box the other day and the cashier asked me if I was pregnant, I told her “yes, 5 months with a little girl” and told said how exciting and congratulated me.. then gave me extra curly fries lmao. I was kinda taken back by how she just asked. I’d never ask even if some was clearly pregnant but that’s just me!

I was asked by someone at work too. It was awkward because I was only 12 weeks and really wasn't ready to tell. I also didn't think it was obvious. When I responded yes, but why do you ask, she said "oh, I KNOW your body. Your hips are widening a little bit" 😳😲😒

I once asked a woman if she was pregnant and I felt horrible when I found out she wasn't 😭 It was only because she was looking at baby clothes with no child with her and I wanted to tell her about this awesome consignment sale that happens a few times a year, and if you're pregnant you get to shop early 😩
