I have had poorly controlled thyroid and when I saw the obs in June I was told I needed to double my dose and there was no heart beat so needed d&c; at 8 weeks. At the time the obs told me there was no reason my thyroid problem would have caused miscarriage. I doubled the dose of thyroxine and am now almost 6 weeks pregnant but my thyroid hormones were checked again and I was advised to take another 50% of my dose and that might still not be enough - have to check in 4 weeks. Last night I was researching and found there is a link between thyroid problems and miscarriage. I am now petrified that I will miscarry again 😢 Anyone know anything about the chances of this happening?
