Viral infection in babies!!!!!???

My little girl is 15 weeks she’s had a viral infection since Sunday we’ve been st the drs twice now she isn’t unsettled or grumpy however as soon as it hits night time her temp im goes to 39.6?!?! Is this normal.... it’s just her head and neck that is this hot

Keep in mind Baby temperature is always highest at night, lowest in the morning. It may be a natural jump in temp.

Are you sure it's a viral cold and it's not teething? my oldest and my niece/nephews usually had a higher temp and we're more cranky at night, and then with teething kids can get a runny nose/cold, ear infections, and have a fever.
