The first time you told someone???

So I never told anyone that I have herpes. It's been a lottle over a year since I found out and nobody knows. I'm scared shitless to tell anyone especially a potential partner... I want to let someone know... idk who but I feel like if I told someone I'll be able to accept the face that I have it but people are so judgmental. Who was the first person you told? What was their reaction? Or how did it go when you told a significant other?

I just found out 2 days that I have herpes.. I’m currently 31 Weeks pregnant and I told my boyfriend first... he came along during the beginning of my 2nd trimester , ( babyfather didn’t want any part of my pregnancy or my baby) I thought he was gonna break up with me despite the bond he has made with my unborn but telling him was the best thing.. he supports me and he even said he’s willing to get tested knowing that I didn’t get it from him... he’s willing to stay and stick it out with me... he is truly heaven sent to me...telling him lifted the world off my shoulder and I’ve come to terms with everything... I may have herpes but it doesn’t define who I am as a person...I’ve told my family and they really supportive as well...

I first told my bestfriend and my aunt who is also like a sister to me. 
Any new potential partners I felt that I had a great connection with is also who I told. 
One of the potential partners couldn't handle it so we eventually broke everything off (it happens) BUT my now SO didn't judge me. He did research and now we're going on 5 months. And we're still sexually active
