How many times a day to test is NECESSARY for ovulation tests?

I keep seeing posts with people saying to test twice a day, but the OPKs I got (easy@home) say once a day. Which is it?

Twice a day is best because sometimes you can miss a 12 hour surge

this is my first month with opk and I tested once a day and got a positive at 230 in the afternoon on my 3rd day testing. This being said I read online that every 12 hours is more accurate because for instance that test could have been postive at any point between the 2nd time I tested and the 3rd time (within 24 hours) so if it was positive only a couple hours after I tested on day 2 then there is a slight chance I would miss it because you can ovulate anywhere from 12 hours to 72 hours from the time you get a positive opk. So if I waited the 24 hours to test again before a positive and I already ovulated during that time I would have missed it. If this  makes sense? Since this was my first time trying I just opted for  every 24 hours anyways to try it out :)

I tested 3x a day but I have incredibly slow hormone production (pcos) and I have an 8-10w cycle so... but thats just me.
I also tend to misfire a lot :(

I use two different OPKs, the wondfo dip strips and the clear blue digital advanced. With the clear blue you are supposed to use FMU, as it tests for two hormones, so I do one wondfo in the am as well just to see the difference. Also it doesn’t say anything about when to take on the wondfo directions just that you shouldn’t dilute your urine. When I get closer to O I test in the evening as well with the wondfo. I don’t have set times because I usually forget and realize after I’ve peed I didn’t take one so I have to wait to take it for a few hours. Here are my tests from this cycle, as you can see the am test isn’t positive yet but the PM and the next day are definitely positive.

Currently testing twice a day my first month using them, just to see if there are fluctuations/trends. I try to shoot for noon and then between 5:30-7pm.
