Prolapse and pregnancy experiences?
Just wondering if anyone else out there has experienced prolapse while pregnant. I had it after my son, but it’s definitely gotten worse. It’s suspected I have triple prolapse, bladder, uterine and bowel however bowel and uterine can’t be 100 percent diagnosed until baby is here (due to the uterus vein so large and heavy it can make things worse but then be okay after baby is here). 100 percent bladder prolapse is a definite, you can see my cervix at my vagina opening but as I mentioned before it may improve after birth, or may not. My question is - a planned c section has been playing on my mind lately. Wondering if anyone else had a prolapse and gave birth vaginally but wished they did a c section? I’ll likely need surgery when I’ve stopped breastfeeding and certain I won’t be having more kids, but clearly don’t want to make things worse and risk bowel incintinece or urinary Incontinance for the sake of a vaginal birth again. Scared and confused. I am 32 weeks. My midwife is looking into it further for me, but I would like to have an informed choice and decide c section if that would be better.
